Why is XRP price stuck at $1.25 despite nearly 8,000 new wallets?
XRP price has remained near $1.25 on November 3, holding relatively steady despite weaker investor sentiment, slowing ETF demand and continued selling pressure across the cryptocurrency market.
- XRP price traded near $1.25 on November 3, showing little daily movement despite losing 16.5% over the past month.
- U.S. spot XRP ETFs recorded $529,510 in net outflows on November 2, as demand remained subdued.
- Santiment reported 7,934 new XRP wallets on November 1, the sixth-highest daily total of 2026.
- Crypto analyst Ali Charts identified $1.23 and $1.27 as important levels for XRP’s next price movement.
- Technical indicators remain bearish, with $1.20 providing support and $1.30 standing as the first major recovery level.
Market data from crypto.news showed the cryptocurrency trading between $1.24 and $1.26 over 24 hours. Trading volume reached approximately $1.35 billion, while its market capitalization stood at $79.42 billion.
Although XRP recorded little daily movement, it remained 3.81% lower over seven days and 16.5% below its price a month earlier. Bitcoin and Ethereum experienced larger daily declines, leaving XRP relatively stable during Tuesday’s trading session.
XRP price holds steady despite weak ETF demand
Institutional investment activity has offered limited support for XRP during the latest market downturn.
U.S. spot XRP exchange-traded funds recorded $529,510 in net withdrawals on November 2, per SoSoValue data.
The funds generated $18.26 million in daily trading volume, while their combined net assets stood at $1.42 billion. Cumulative net inflows remained near $1.81 billion.
October had already brought weaker institutional demand. As crypto.news previously reported, XRP ETFs attracted $18.83 million during the month, their second-lowest monthly inflow since January.
However, the November 2 withdrawal was relatively small compared with the nearly $399 million that left U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs during the same session.
Moreover, separate market research cited a Coinbase premium near negative 0.16%, pointing to weaker XRP buying activity on the U.S.-based exchange.
The figures suggest that institutional demand has slowed, although ETF withdrawals alone do not establish the cause of XRP’s price performance.
XRP wallets grow despite cautious market sentiment
Network activity has presented a different picture from the token’s recent price movement.
Blockchain analytics firm Santiment reported that the XRP Ledger created 7,934 new wallets on November 1.
The figure represented the sixth-highest daily total of 2026, despite Sunday typically recording lower cryptocurrency network activity.
🚨 XRP Adoption Accelerates While Price Hovers Near $1.25

🌱 XRP network growth is accelerating fast. November 1st saw 7,934 new wallets created, the 6th highest daily total of 2026, despite Sunday usually being one of crypto’s quieter days for network activity.

Santiment described the development as accelerating network growth while XRP continued trading near $1.25.
The firm suggested that the recent Binance security breach may have encouraged users to create self-custody wallets.
However, the company did not establish a direct connection between the hack and the increased wallet count.
Wallet creation measures newly activated addresses, not necessarily new investors. Individual users and institutions can control multiple wallets.
Meanwhile, Santiment’s sentiment analysis showed bearish commentary continuing to outweigh positive discussion.
XRP recorded approximately 0.61 bullish comments for every bearish comment, compared with Bitcoin’s 0.69 ratio.
The analytics firm suggested that unusually negative sentiment could eventually create conditions for a recovery if prices stabilize.
However, it cautioned that extreme fear does not identify an exact market bottom.
XRP price faces a possible breakout near $1.27
Crypto analyst Ali Charts has identified tightening volatility on XRP’s four-hour chart, suggesting a larger price movement could follow its recent consolidation.
In his November 3 analysis, the analyst wrote, “XRP: A BIG MOVE IS COMING.”
He explained that the Bollinger Bands had narrowed to their tightest levels since August.
The analyst recalled an earlier period when a similar compression preceded a 71% rally over three days.
However, he warned that “a squeeze doesn’t predict direction.”

The Bollinger Bands on the 4-hour chart have squeezed to their narrowest levels since August.
The last time they were this compressed, $XRP rallied 71% in just three days.
But a squeeze doesn’t predict direction.
That’s why I’m watching:

Ali identified a four-hour close above $1.27 as a bullish signal, while a close below $1.23 would favor sellers.
He described the area between those levels as a “no-trade zone,” where traders could wait for clearer confirmation.
Another analyst, More Crypto Online, identified support between $1.10 and $1.29 following a three-wave decline from XRP’s August high.
The analyst said XRP was holding up better than several other cryptocurrency charts while testing that region.
XRP price prediction: can buyers reclaim $1.30?
On the daily chart, XRP continued trading below its recent September highs near $1.60.
The Relative Strength Index stood at 37.77, below its moving average of 39.89. Both readings indicated weak momentum, although the RSI remained above the oversold threshold of 30.
The Moving Average Convergence Divergence indicator remained negative, with the MACD line at -0.0366 and its signal line at -0.0345.

Its histogram stood at -0.0021, suggesting bearish momentum had eased without producing a confirmed reversal.
Immediate support remained near $1.24, followed by $1.20. A move below those levels could expose XRP to another decline.
Resistance stood around $1.30, with $1.40 representing a higher recovery level if buying activity improves.
Earlier whale activity data showed wallets holding between 10 million and 100 million XRP declining from 351 to 339.
During the same period, exchange-associated balances increased by roughly 47 million XRP, according to figures shared by Ali Charts.
Although exchange deposits can indicate available selling supply, the transactions do not establish that holders have sold their tokens.
