Solana Set a Record in Everything Except the Part Holders Care About

Cumulative Solana ETF inflows reached a record $1.22 billion this week, and Monday alone delivered $33.5 million. That was the largest single day of 2026 for the six US spot products.

The run stretched to five straight sessions. Onchain activity set its own record at the same time, yet SOL price is nowhere near its record highs.

Solana ETF Inflows Reach a Record $1.22 Billion

Farside Investors’ data puts the cumulative net total across the US spot funds at $1.22 billion. Bitwise’s BSOL accounts for most of that figure.

Concentration remains the caveat, however. BeInCrypto flagged the same single issuer concentration in mid-August, when weekly inflows jumped 70 times over.

Flows have swung hard all year. Solana and Chainlink products staged an April ETF inflow rebound before the summer lull, and one six-day stretch this month produced no net movement at all.

The funds began trading in late October 2025. Most of the cumulative total arrived in the first two months, after which the line flattened for roughly half a year. One product, Tuttle’s TSOL, has carried net outflows for almost the entire period.

Onchain Activity Climbs as Meme Coin Volume Returns

The network processed 4.2 billion transactions in July. That set a record and marked a 13.5% gain in June. Measured against December 2025, the monthly count has risen 91%. Solana’s official account answered the figure with a single word, “Higher.”

Capacity explains part of the jump. Solana lifted block limits 66% in July, moving from 60 million to 100 million compute units, while tokenized real-world asset value on the chain reached $3.73 billion. More than 313,000 addresses now hold one of those assets.

Meme coins supplied the rest. Weekly spot volume across Solana meme coins reached $5.2 billion in mid-August, the highest reading of 2026, after bottoming near $1.8 billion in late May. BeInCrypto tracked how network activity kept climbing even as SOL fell, and the meme coin season contest between Solana, BNB Chain, and Robinhood has since intensified.

The same account marked that volume high with three words.

Price has not followed the same curve. SOL trades near $96, down 2.36% on the day and 49% lower than a year ago. The token has gained 24% over the past week, but it sits 67% under its all-time high of $293.31.

Traders now watch the Alpenglow upgrade, which targets faster finality. Record flows and record throughput have arrived together. Whether they convert into a durable price recovery is what the coming weeks should reveal.
