JD Vance Reveals 4 Reasons Trump Voters Left
Vice President JD Vance said Republicans lost Congress on Tuesday because Trump’s own 2024 voters switched sides, not because they stayed home. He cited a pollster who asked those defectors what would win them back.
Their answers center on the Iran war and household costs. The loss also hands Democrats the power to investigate, and the first business in line is the Trump family’s crypto company.
What Did Trump’s 2024 Voters Say Would Bring Them Back?
The pollster, who runs opinion surveys, asked defecting Trump voters what would bring them back, and four answers made up nearly all the responses, Vance wrote in a post.
- End the war
- Focus on cost of living and inflation
- Put America first
- Change the US relationship with Israel

Vance also said another pollster blamed weak economic messaging. He rejected amnesty for undocumented immigrants as the fix.
One of the things the data analysts on our side obsessed over was "composition"—whether the electorate looked close enough to 2024 for Republicans to win. And despite polls that showed a Democrat blowout, the data kept on telling us the same story: in some states turnout was…

Why Trump’s Crypto Ventures Face Probes First
Rep. Robert Garcia, set to chair the Oversight Committee, told the Trump family to get lawyers, Fortune reported.
World Liberty Financial, the family’s crypto firm, is likely the first target. Democrats are focused on a $500 million stake an Abu Dhabi royal bought while the firm seeks a national bank charter needing Treasury approval.
Trump’s crypto ventures have earned him more than $1 billion.
House Democrats plan to launch their agenda within 100 hours of the new Congress being seated in January, the Financial Times reported. It includes votes on ending the Iran conflict and undoing tariffs.
The crypto industry enters that Congress behind. The CLARITY Act, a bill to set federal rules for crypto trading, failed in the Senate in September on a 49-50 procedural vote.
